USCIS Warns of Phone Scams

red phoneIn recent weeks, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services learned of a new telephone scam targeting USCIS applicants. Scammers pose as USCIS officials, request personal information, and request payment.

USCIS never requests personal information or payment over the phone. If you receive these calls, USCIS advises you to hang up immediately. For more information, see USCIS’ official blog.
